Mamba verde oriental - cabecera

Also known as the East African green mamba or simply green mamba. It is a highly venomous species; in fact, a single bite can easily kill an adult human. Due to its arboreal habits, these bites can occur on the head, neck, or upper half of the body, which would inevitably lead to death.

Its diet consists almost exclusively of birds and small mammals. It inhabits coastal regions from Kenya to South Africa.
