
The Seoane’s viper is endemic to northern Spain, found only in the northern strip of the peninsula. It is the only venomous snake in this area and is mostly found in its bilineata coloration form, consisting of two longitudinal yellow or orange stripes along its entire body.
In March, with the start of spring, is when they begin their activity, which continues until October.
