Deciduous tree, with a medium to large trunk, up to 1 m in diameter, branched from the base with more or less spreading branches.
Curiosities
Mixed with tobacco, it was used for smoking at the court of the Mexican emperors. It was also widely used in France as a perfume for gloves.
