YES. But remember that it must be properly leashed and controlled, and that its access will be limited to restaurants, the park’s internal bus service, the gorilla building, and the walkway bordering the sea lion pool. Likewise, access to the cable car is subject to the following:

  • Pets must travel in a suitable carrier, which must be provided by the pet’s owner or guardian.
  • It is strictly forbidden to transport the animal outside of these transport elements.
  • The transportation of these animals is the responsibility of their owners, who must travel with the animal.
  • In the case of the cable car, only one pet is allowed per cabin. However, the number can be increased if the pets belong to the same family unit traveling in the cable car.

Breeds specified in Cantabria Decree 69/1999 of June 11, which regulates the ownership of guard and defense dog breeds, and in Royal Decree 287/2002 of March 22, which develops Law 50/1999 of December 23, on the legal regime for the ownership of potentially dangerous animals, are exempt from this policy.

NO. The animals at Cabárceno have a diet planned according to their needs, and altering it with unfamiliar food can cause them serious health problems.

YES. You get a 50% discount on the ticket price when purchasing at the ticket offices, provided you can properly accredit it.

NO. As stated in the general conditions, the total or partial closure of the park, facilities, and/or demonstrations due to safety reasons, force majeure, or animal welfare is not compensable.

YES. However, customers wishing to enter and visit by campervan should note that, due to the terrain’s topography, there are routes and areas within the park that these vehicles cannot access or park in for their own safety. These areas can be explored on foot or by bicycle, and the visit can also be completed using the cable car.

YES. You can change your access date up to 2 days before your scheduled visit. There’s a €10 fee per modified ticket, and the change must be within the same season and up to six months after the change date. You can make this change in the “Accede a tu cuenta” (Access your account) section by logging in with your username and password.

The date change is subject to availability on the new chosen day.

To get your Amigo Card, just go to the purchase website, register, and complete the entire buying process.

At the time of payment, enter your gift code and click Apply. The value of the gift voucher will automatically be deducted from the final price.
