The Cantil does have contrasted colors and is found in Central America, including areas near human habitation. Its presence near people does lead to accidents. While Cantils are generally shy<\/strong> and will try to flee, if cornered or provoked, they are highly defensive and considered dangerous. The Cantil’s venom is extremely potent, bites are medically serious and can be life-threatening<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
