Leaves Deciduous, alternate, composed of 3 to 11 leaflets, odd-pinnate. Entire margin, oval or rounded shape.
Flowers/Fruit The flowers emerge in late spring, appearing in numerous, white, aromatic, and hanging clusters. The fruits are legumes, dull, and more or less flattened (they hang at the end of the branches).
Climate/Habitat Cultivated in parks and gardens. It also grows naturally in cool and humid forests.
